Romanian Academy Awards

On Thursday, December 7, 2023, the Romanian Academy will present the awards for the most valuable scientific and artistic creations of 2021. The event will take place in the Romanian Academy Hall, starting at 10 a.m., in the presence of the members of the General Assembly.

The awards are granted, according to the regulations, within the 14 scientific sections of the Romanian Academy, namely: literature and philology, history, mathematics, physics, chemistry, technical sciences, geonomic sciences, information technology, biology, medicine, agronomy, forestry, economic and legal sciences, sociology, psychology, philosophy, theology, fine arts, theater and music.

During the event, the Romanian Academy will award six “Academic Merit” diplomas and seven “Cultural Distinction” diplomas.
