Members of the two academies, directors of institutes and agencies, university rectors, scientific researchers, and cultural figures are invited to the event.

The event will be held in a hybrid format, with physical attendance at the Azure Hall of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and online via Zoom.

The festive meeting dedicated to the Romanian Language Day will be followed by the opening of the 14th edition of the World Congress of Eminescologists, which will take place in Chisinau between August 31 and September 1, 2025.

The events organized by the Romanian Academy on the occasion of the “Romanian Language Day“ respond to the first mission of the highest cultural and scientific forum of Romania, that of standardizing and cultivating the national language, through the development of dictionaries, grammars, anthologies of texts, studies and research, as well as through cultural events aimed at promoting the Romanian language as the main identity factor.
