Musical moment: The ARCO String Quintet is made up of students from the "Dinu Lipatti" National College of Arts and the "George Enescu" National College of Music in Bucharest.
The event will take place in a hybrid format simultaneously at the Romanian Academy Hall and the Azure Hall of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova.
The solemn moment will be marked by the performance of "Ode to Eminescu", first performed on January 15, 2025, in Bucharest, Chisinau and Brussels, during the events launching the Mihai Eminescu Year, a joint initiative of the two academies. The event is part of the Joint Action Plan for 2026, a festive year in which the Romanian Academy will celebrate 160 years since its foundation, and the Academy of Sciences of Moldova will mark 65 years since its foundation.
