The Romanian Academy celebrates National Culture Day every year, a holiday it initiated and proposed to the Romanian Parliament for legislation in 2010. The events dedicated to this celebration, now in its fourteenth edition, aim to promote the values of national culture in all communities inhabited by Romanians, both inside and outside the country's borders.
